who waits for the 45 days to be up before lodging a paypal claim? and why?

a claim must be lodged within 45days, then the seller has a further 20 days to make delivery... or you get a refund.simple

go over the 45 days and you loose your money.

sorry, you should have been keeping you eye on the dates and made your claim in time, nothing to be done after the expiration of your free insurance offered by Paypal.
