How do I get warranty or request a refund if the item number is not valid (153516038863) and it would appear seller is no longer on ebay.

If you used PayPal to pay, you might still be able to open a case there. When did you buy the item?

You have 180 days to open a case in PayPal.

Warranties themselves though are not worth much on eBay if the seller is not an authorized reseller and a business registered in Australia.

The seller is still on eBay, just not active. If you send them a message, they might still receive it if it also goes to their normal mailbox. However, as they are not even active, it is unlikely they will reply or care. They are also in China, which makes help even more unlikely.
