My Seller is avoiding answering a return request on a faulty item (a TV that has failed after 10 weeks from purchase & just 3 weeks use)
I am unable to request a resolution as a buyer because the seller has removed the item from the purchase list as it is apparently outside his return dates.
Under Consumer Law, I believe a faulty item in less than 12 months is due a refund.
How can I get EBay involved to assist in resolving this problem?
You can’t get eBay to assist you
30 days is the time limit for an item not as described dispute
The MBG is not a warranty
ACL does not state you are covered for 12 months if you buy from a random seller on ebay
Sa,e as you would not be covered if you bought that same tv from someone’s garage sale
The seller has not and cannot remove the item from your purchase history, you need to change the drop down menu to cover when you bought it
It is not apparently outside ‘his’ return dates, no seller has a returns allowed after that amount of time
Was the seller you bought from an authorised seller of the brand?
And if so, have you tried contacting the brand they are authorised to sell for?
