To Ebay community – Kopenhagen 5: Once again Ebay sends me rubbish I cannot understand! You do not attempt to assist me with easy to understand instructions. Ebay knows my restrictions in proving my identity –passport expired 2005, drivers license withdrawn ( I had to surrender) due handicap and I am 82. I try to insert pension card copy, Medicare copy- no provision by Ebay. I ask ebay your email so I can attach copy of Pension, Medicare – I only get rubbish emails – make no sense. Also WHY did ebay suddenly treat me as a new seller?I have over 17 years experience with Ebay with over 800 sales and 100% satisfaction. Ebay has now frozen my payments; I cannot make any sales.

WARNING – a lawyer friend says Ebay in complete disregard consumer and handicapped persons law. IF I do not get help within 7 days I have been advised to start legal action.

My lawyer is getting a copy of this email.

The instructions were very clear - GO TO A POST OFFICE AND GET A PHOTO ID.

Then upload that to eBay.

And I also explained that all sellers need to move onto the new system before you can sell. (Managed Payments)

There is NO discrimination involved, ALL members must move onto the new system as the old is being shut down. Just like when we had to move onto the NBN.

Did you advise your lawyer that the person you are complaining about is simply a fellow buyer/seller

Kopenhagen has provided an answer in the other thread, but is just a normal member and not eBay staff.

Kopenhagen 5 was quite correct....you need to navigate new rules....where it says  to provide driver's licence....input your proof of age card....many have done it
