Hi there in the past I have been able when looking at members profile view items that they have purchased or have sold.
Lately there a very few members that in there feed back profile one can view the item that was purchased or sold, not sure what has happened ..
I found when looking at a members purchases I then if interested in the item could go to the sellers store and check it out for future referance..
Dose anyone one know what has happened or are members able to prevent anyone from seeing items that they have purchased or sole..
Thanks Ian
eBay has recently changed the feedback profile for purchases for privacy.
If you look at another member's feedback, you will be able to see details for anything they have sold, which can give you an idea about whether you want to buy from them, depending on the feedback they have received for relevant items.
If I looked at your feedback, I would not be able to see detail or "view item" for your purchases, protecting your privacy, but I would see details for any sales.
It's not something you can switch on or off, it's for everyone.
If you log out then look at your own feedback, you'll see what I mean.
For example, I can see what you have sold (fish hooks) and click on "view item"...but see no details or view item for what you have bought. Protecting your privacy, but enabling me to see that you have happy customers, and whether it's relevant to what I might want to buy from you.
