Why cant items ordered from India be tracked , And why dont they arrive.

In the last few months my six out of six Ebay orders from India cannot be tracked and have not arrived. I have been getting refunds but this is just not good enough. What is going on?

Have you read the papers or watched the news lately?

India has been very badly affected by COVID.....I am surprised that any ebay sellers are even selling at present.

Why would you keep coming back for more punishment....after one or two non arrivals I would give up, at least until things settle down.

Oh for goodness sake, yes I read the news daily, which is why I contacted most (admittedly not all) sellers and asked if they were still trading before I placed my orders.

COVID causes considerable delays even nationally, let alone internationally, although there are also items that arrive really fast (iHerb orders always arrive in about a week from the USA for example).

As for tracking, I assume it depends on the postage option you choose. Tracking is more expensive, in particular internationally, but if you really want peace of mind and the item is valuable, maybe you should ask for a service with tracking.

In future check the seller's feedback, if they're high-volume sellers with less than 99.5% feedback avoid them.
