Not if the buyer has any sense at all

Especially since you have pulled the same stunt with another buyer and got a deserved  neg for doing so

Did you make any mention of this in your listing?

Any reason why you are not willing to offer a safe payment method?

If the next buyer decides to report you to eBay, it is quite likely eBay will close you down

Not to mention that asking AFTER a sale is even more suspicious. It is difficult to imagine anybody would accept, even if you offer a discount, like you did with that buyer who left the neg.

You can ask, but no buyer in their right mind would pay by bank transfer and lose ALL buyer protection.

You MUST offer at least one safe payment method.

Edit. Snap Sandy.    I's slow today...................

Is it because of Managed Payments by any chance? As you are a new/irregular seller, I know they make you wait, but unfortunately if you want to sell on eBay that's the way it is, and if you become an established/regular seller your funds won't be kept on hold any more.
