Hi, I made an error in the description of a ring I'm selling but I didn't realise until someone had already placed a bid. I made an amendment which is added to the very bottom of the listing and isn't really very obvious to the buyers. Now I'm worried because the item has some good bids on it and I'm not sure if they think the diamonds are bigger than they really are because of my mistake. Is there anyway to let them know? Thanks
The difference in 6 diamonds being 2mm and not 3mm is a huge change in carat weight and appearance, not a minor one.
You would be far better to end the item using the drop down tabs at the right of the item, and revise it and re list it correctly.
You can contact the bidders and explain the error and invite them to bid again if they are still interested.
