I am having a dispute with a buyer who insists that tracking numbers are mandatory on items sold through eBay. The case in point involves a CD which I posted in a bubble wrap envelope. Australia Post treats CDs in bubble wrap envelopes as large letters. The option of tracking is not available for letters, large or small. If I post a vinyl album it goes at a small parcel and I am able to provide a tracking number. I would like a definitive answer on this.
