Average time to wait for payment

Hi, just wondering what the average time is to wait for payment of an item. I sent an invoice 48hrs ago and have heard nothing. Someone else has contacted me and really wants the item. But they didn't bid, so I can't do a second chance offer.

Every buyer in effect gets 8 days.

That's because you cannot open an unpaid item case until 4 days after sale date and cannot close it until 4 days later.

So in this case I would open the unpaid case as soon as possible providing you don't hear anything from the buyer.

That may spur the buyer to paying and if not, close the case ASAP.

In the meantime explain what you are doing to the other buyer and relist for the other potential buyer as a BIN as soon as the first is closed.

You will get a fee credit for the first trans and the buyer gets a strike as well as neither party being able to leave feedback.
