I sold two DVDs to a buyer in Romania. Before sending the invoice I advised her that the DVDs were coded for Region 4 (Australia) and would not play in Romania unless her DVD player played all regions. I asked her if she wished to cancel the order but received no reply. A few days later I sent the invoice with a message advising her of the problem. Again I received no reply or payment. I decided to cancel the order, however eBay did not give me the option of selecting Non Paying Buyer. On further investigation I found that eBay thinks that either I have marked the item as sent or that I have received payment, neither of which is true. I wish to cancel the sale on the grounds of non-payment so that I can get my eBay fee back, the CDs can be relisted and the buyer's failure to pay is recorded on her account. NOTE: I emphasise that I have neither marked the items as sent or indicated that payment has been received.
If it's just happened today, it's freaky friday. (eBay site maintenance)
Try again tomorrow.
I believe NPB is now part of the cancel option. Try that.
