Buyer wants to cancel bid with less that 12 hours to go.

A friend of mine who is also a seller on ebay asked me a question about what to do when a buyer contacts them & says they don't have the money to pay anymore & they don't want the item but there is less than 12 hours to go on the item. What should she do?

Cancel the bid.

Once there is less than 12 hours to go the buyer can not cancel their bid.

Better to do this than have a non payer.
