Click & Send Question

Hi I am a bit confused with the new fee structure implemented by Australia Post as of the 8th of April. I am now unclear as to the advantage of using Click & Send anymore. I used to pay Australia Post $1.55 for each parcel I lodged using this service for tracking purposes. Now I can get the same tracking service included for nothing as ALL parcels lodged at the post office now are issued with a tracking number which is included in the new price of postage. I never use the extra option of a signature with click & send so I can see any reason to continue with using and paying for click & send. Have I got this right or am I missing something?? The other problem is though when using Turbolister for ads and putting postage with tracking it is adding in the extra $1.55 still. Hope someone can clarify this for me.

Many thanks in advance Wendy

The regular tracking other than click and send or signature required is NOT proof enough postage for paypal seller protection.

With C& S and signature required there is a record of the address the items is posted too.

Yes the regular prepaid satchels are cheaper buy you need to pay the extra $2.95 for proof of postage to the address seen on the paypal payment notice.

If the buyer pays with bank dep then regular postage is fine as it is the buyer at risk then not the seller. But in the event of a missing item one would assume the seller would still help a buyer.

When you use C&S you pay on line and you should NOT be charged any more when you lodge it.

If you have paid on line and then the PO is asking you to pay more for tracking then report them to the powers that be at AP as this is NOT right.
