Combining an invoice after buyer has completed checkout Buyer has purchased to items from me, he has completed checkout and I can combine

Buyer has purchased two items from me, completed checkout and paid with Paypal.  I can combine postage so have refunded their payment and want to issue a combined invoice reflecting the new total.

 

Followed previous advice here on sending separate invoices which should then enable to send a combined invoice.  Have tried several times, what am I doing wrong, or have things changed recently.
