Each time I have tried to list an item to sell since mid afternoon I get taken to my login page, but I am already logged in?

This has happened in the past and it is very frustrating when you are about to do listings and are unable to proceed.

I have tried to log out and then back in but it makes no difference and then at some point hour later it starts to work again. Is this due to high traffic volume with ebay or is it something I can resolve from my computer?

Not an uncommon problem,

Clear your cache and cookies, reboot, then download Firefox if you aren`t already using it,  much more ebay user friendly,

These simple steps will usually fixes what you have described.  come back if you continue to have problems.
