I am not impressed with the ebay postage farce.
Sellers can pay online for postage on an item and print out a label that they can attach to said item.
They can then mark item as posted, because the eBay system can query Aust Post and that tracking/consignment number
will exist.
The seller can then at their leisure post the item whenever they want days later even. It will show as posted on the eBay system even though it isnt.
One clue is when you track the item it will show as "Initiated" instead of "Recieved" or "In Transit".
I have recently experienced this on two items that have taken a week or more to travel 80klms.
Has anyone else?
If so please comment so this thread becomes large enough that eBay can take notice.
P.S This also happens when sellers purchase prepaid ebay parcel/sachets.
