GST on Final Value Fees on Purchases From International Customers

I know that GST should not be charged by eBay on International postage, even though they do, but I am not sure if it is correct for eBay to be charging us GST on final value fees on purchases from overseas customers. Does anybody with more knowledge of this have any idea?

Your final value fees are the fees you pay for a service you receive (selling on ebay in Australia).  GST is payable on the fees for that service and has absolutely nothing to do with what you sell or who buys it.
