How do i prove i sell real gold?

Hi everyone,

Ii have intention to sell some personal gold items on ebay and since they are quite expensive items  i am a bit scared of being ripped off if i do some mistake so to cover myself i would like to ask if anybody can give me advices on few things

1- what is the most safe postage method to make sure post does not lose it  and customer customer does receive it ?

 2 - some of my items are very common models and because of that there are many replicas around so my question is how do i prove that i send the authentic thing?

for some of my items i do have receipt boxes and paperwork but i don't think the paperwork makes the item authentic so what are ebay rules around that?

would appreciate some advices

Yes Putney that's exaclly what i meant. 

And yes i am aware that with my low feedback i could attact scammers and once i asked the question with this  id could be targeted so for this reason i thought i would ask my partner to list them for me with and id with apprx 430 fb ( yet he has never sold any gold object therefore never even thought about something like that)

however it sound like the quantity of experience on ebay does not count much in such cases as by your advices ebay is not safe in this particular situation.

Any suggestion for a good specialised auction house?
