If i sell something that is broken and the buyer is aware before purchase, can they force a refund?

Hi there,

I recently upgraded my phone and want to sell the previous one.

I cant activate it and I don't know why, it's not blocked or stolen etc as IMEI proves. I've listed the item and added in the description what the issue is and that I don't have time to get it fixed etc. As result i've listed it for cheaper than a new or second hand model purely because they'd have to go and get it fixed.

I've received some offers and I just wanted to make sure before I sell it that once it's sold buyers can't just decide they didn't know or don't want it anymore.

What's the procedure here?

Thanks!

If it is the one listed then it is very risky IMHO

The condition states brand new condition, brand new would be working

Aside from that, many people do not bother to read descritpions, especially something in small print down the bottom of the page

I'm not sure if a factory re-set was done already ?

If you must sell it on ebay, please be aware things like Iphones are high risk at the best of times, BUT I would certainly remove the 'brand new condition' and I would put in the heading that it is not work, as well as in the description

I would also make sure it is in bold, large red font what problem it has

As listed now, I can't see it ending well, especially as your last feedback as a seller was some time ago  (as I say, things like Iphones especailly attract scammers and those who look for sellers with lower feedback selling high price items)

*EDIT*  Bear be too slow
