I have seen a number of posts over time claiming that it is against Ebay policy for buyers to message offers on Buy It Now listings which do not have Best Offer? Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I might find this information? I called Ebay customer support but was given conflicting information by the same consultant. One minute she said it was a violation and should be reported. The next minute she said it wasn't. I am a little confused. I have tried searching around the rules but have had no luck. I don't want to report anyone but I'd like to know as I continually receive these messages on a daily basis.
