After a long break from ebay I have returned to sell surplus car parts. AFTER selling the first item, ebay informed me I had to upload a government issued photo ID in order to receive payment. I hate this idea so much I wouldn't have used ebay had I known this. Anyway, I did it. Now I am waiting for purchaser to approve the item (it was posted a month ago). I have emailed purchaser three times without a reply. So... I have uploaded my details and messaged the purchaser ad still have no money.
Is it possible to just get the money when item is sold?
Finally, when I try to leave negative feedback, there is only a positive icon to click.

Verification and signing up for managed payments should all have been done BEFORE you listed the item
Payment holds of 14-30 days apply for all new and infrequent sellers

You can't be serious !!!
Sellers haven't been able to leave negative feedback since 2008 but if you keep hassling the buyer, YOU'RE the one who will end up with negative feedback
To add, Bad and/or inexperienced sellers like yourself who want to leave negative feedback for a buyer who's done nothing wrong, are the very reason the option to leave negative feedback for buyers was removed
I have never wanted to leave negative feedback before so wouldn't know when that ceased to be an option. The three messages I sent were 1. hey, I put your item in the post, it should reach you on such and such a date. 2. Then I checked in to see if the item had arrived. 3 After a month I checked again to see if the item had arrived because the delivery still hadn't been marked off. After a few more days of silence and no money, I thought I would leave some negative feedback. Bad seller? No. Everything I have ever listed has been quality and as described. Inexperienced? Yes.
@mel134h 1) I may have sounded a little harsh but we were all inexperienced when we first started selling and I can guarantee that in your situation, not one of us on the forum would have tried to leave negative feedback for a buyer
2) Buyers don't mark as delivered. Your tracking would show eBay and yourself when the item was delivered
3) As long as you're verified and signed up correectly, you'll receive payment in 14 - 30 days.
If not , you won't vreceive any payment at all
" Silemce and noi money.
Your buyer paid eBay, eBay pays you. your buyer they did nothing wrong at all
