My listing clearly says under postage cost 'Posts to Australia' yet someone from the U.S has selected buy it now? This shouldn't happen.

Have you, in your settings, put it so that you ONLY post within Australia? (as in excluded every other country by ticking each box and filled out excluded countries ,including saving for all future listings?) Not JUST specified the postage cost with Australia on the listing
If not then overseas people will still be able to bid
This is how eBay has set it up, fellow members here have no control over what should or should'nt happen
If you wish to complain to eBay, far better to call them or have them call you as emailing will only get an auto-bot reply (if any)
