Buying saying item not received wants refund

Buyer saying item not received.Tracking indicates delivered.I have opened Australia Post case and waiting on advice.Buyer wants refund.Its only been about 3 days since it was supposed to arrive.

Has buyer lodged a claim through eBay, or just messaged you?

He opened a case through eBay just today stating item tracking says delivered but has not received it…pretty much said straight away he wanted a refund(via message)

Also consider that eBay will back the seller if the item shows as delivered and the seller uploaded tracking to the sale. If you didn't do that, upload it to the case

Upload tracking to the case, even if it has been provided before- it counts as a response & you need to respond.

Seems the poor fella had an old address on his file which I sent the item to….

Hopefully your buyer can get in touch with the new residents of his old address, and pick up the item from that location. This may sound cold (and it’s not that I am not sympathetic to the buyer); the simple fact is that this is the buyer’s error, not yours. Presumably you sent to the address provided at checkout.

Yes I hope he can track it down…I may be able to assist with info from the AP investigation which I will pass on to him.
