I want to use eBay as my selling agent but I don't want to use Paypal

I want to use eBay as my selling agent and I read that I don't have to sign up for Paypal but when I tried to log a sale it wouldn't go past the section unless I register for Paypal, any suggestions because I only have small items to sell and the charges with Paypal cuts out any profit I could make.

As the topic is eight years old, and PayPal will very very shortly no longer be an option at all for most sellers, it would not be the same issue
