Hello-I recently sold a bangle-believing it to be sterling silver {it is stamped 925}.Buyer has just emailed to say-she does not think it is all silver, just silver plated,as she had a reaction on her skin after she wore it.I was under the impression that anything stamped 925 is totally silver-or it would read "silver plated".
What should i do now?-I really think it is all silver.
Thank you in advance-for any advice.
You can ask her to return it and you will have it tested and if it is found to be plated then refund her, and if it not then you can either refund anyway and resell knowing what it is or tell her you will return it once postage cost has been received to return it as it is as described and send the proof of what it is.
If she paid with paypal and opened a dispute for item not as described then she would be told to return it at her cost for a refund.
