I have bought quite a lot of clothes recently from TEMU.
The prices are ridiculously cheap and you only have to spend $15 to get free postage.
Perhaps they are doing a Bunnings and wiping out all the competition.
Basically I rarely sell clothes myself, but what are other sellers thoughts on this?
I wouldn’t buy from Temu in a pink paisley fit.
Why would you give your information to the Chinese government?
Topic is about the website Temu. Most people do not want to support known scammers . Won't ask how you know what other members buy and from where
Most of the things I buy are not made in China. I make conscious decisions on this. Where there is no choice, I will buy legitimate brands where the items are manufactured to Australian standards and they’re under warranty.
However, I’ll point out that “made in China” under contract to major brands is completely different to buying from Temu. It’s different with regards to the information gained by the Chinese government (because Temu’s customer information is an open book to the Chinese govt), with regards to quality control (things sold through Temu don’t have any), with regards to IP (Temu suppliers steal any design they can, without regard to artistic or technological design integrity), with regards to safety issues (Temu suppliers don’t concern themselves with any of that), and with regard to Australian standards (Temu doesn’t bother about that).
I’ll repeat – not in a pink paisley fit. No. Never.
