Thanks for earlier advice re: loading photos, but the problem is there is NO "Browse" button on either the Standard or Basic Upload pages. Can't figure it out. The photos are in "My pictures" but for some reason there is no way for me to move them across to Ebay. I had no problems with my old computer, but this is the first time I've tried with the laptop. Could it be a problem with a setting. I'm at my wit's end!!!

Ok, it appears there is a problem with Internet Explorer 10 not showing the browse button in the ebay uploader.
Apparently it is there if you use google chrome or firefox. So I suggest you download one of those web browsers, preferably firefox. Or you can go back to IE9 if you want.
