WARNING to ALL Sellers.
Do you realise the ebay is classing POSTAGE as "INCOME".
Postage IS NOT income as it obviously goes to whoever you post/send your item with.
THIS IS A CRIMINAL ACT by ebay and NEEDS TO BE DEALT WITH.
If you sell low prised items eg, $1 - $5 YOU MAKE NOTHING out of the "sale".
Ebay is RIPPING YOU OFF.
"If you sell low prised items eg, $1 - $5 YOU MAKE NOTHING out of the "sale""
Auctions aren't as popular as they used to be.
You'd make a lot more money if you stopped listing auctions starting at $1 , $5 etc , with a much higher buy it now price. Some are only receiving one bid . You're giving them away.
Either start your auctions at much higher $$$ or list as a Buy It Now only.
Money collected for postage is actually classed as income - despite your personal opinion.
You charge an amount for a service - that's classed as income.
The fact that you use your income to offset the cost of your expenses (paying for postage), doesn't change it from being income.
