What do the "helpers" write to buyers they have not heard from 3 days after "selling" a item to them?. I want to be polite but also if they are having a problem with the amount to be paid. I did write "payment within 4 days please" in my listing but of course know I can not enforce that.

I would write something like:
Hello XXX, just a friendly reminder that my payment terms are xx days. Could you please make payment for this item, or let me know if there is a problem so that we can work out a solution. Regards, XXXXX
If they dont reply by day 5, I would not contact them again, just go to dispute.
