Ebay sent invoice to buyer in India who replied with shipping instructions and said would send money soon.  I sent a reminder email on the weekend but no answer as yet.  Auction was on 31stJuly which is only 1 week, but Ebay has item marked as Second chance offer, why?   I  am non feeling very confident. Ebay has invoiced their Final Value Fee so what happens if sale    is  not finalised?

I am still learning so would like some advice,  Thanks.

The acceptable time frame for payment is what you stipulate in the listings as the seller.

You can open an unpaid item dispute after 4 days, although most sellers will allow around 7 days.

You can open a dispute now if you wish, by using the drop down tabs at the right of the item and choose resolve a problem.

After 4 full days, if no payment, and when the dispute tells you to, you can close it and get your final value fee back, issuing the buyer a strike.

Any item which has an underbidder who accepts second chance offers will show the second chance offer symbol, you can either ignore it, or, use it if the 1st buyer doesnt go through with the sale.

Please dont take offence, bu these are all things you should have learnt about before listing any items for sale, especially International transactions which can be more difficult than domestic ones.
