PayPal and eBay have different conversion amounts. The postage cost of $14.10 Australian obviously needs converting when I list my items on the USA site but how do I know what the correct amount is?
When I check eBays conversion chart it says that $14.10 Australian is $10.95 USA and PayPals conversion rate says $14.10 is $11.25.
I am having a" blank" moment and cannot think about what price to put on the USA site as it is in US Dollars.
Do I put $14.10 as that is what it will cost me to post from Australia to The United States or do I put, for, example $11.25 using one of the currency converters as stated above?
I feel I have listed items on the US site and have put the wrong postage costs in.
It is doing my head in ATM so thought I would ask other members for help.
Thanks in advance all replies will be greatly accepted
I usually round up when selling on US site.
So in your case of postage costing around A$14 and converts to US$11 something, I would quote US$12.
Just make sure the cost is covered, it won't make much difference if it's 50 cents or a dollar more, that can go towards packaging costs which you probably haven't factored in.
