can't receive payment because email address changed on listing

I sold an item on ebay and the buyer made payment.  At the same time I lost my email address in the listing of the item, and I can't get this email address back.  I was told by ebay that my payment was floating and I could not access it.  They said buyer had to cancel the purchase and make the payment again.  The buyer said they could not cancel the purchase even though they tried.  As I did not want the buyer to think I was dishonest I have now sent her the purchase without payment.

Did you remove the email address from paypal?

You should have left it there until the money had been received.

Try putting it back and see if the money appears in your account.  You will not get the notification of the receipt of the payment so just keep looking for it.

If that does not work you should ring paypal....they can probably sort it out for you.
