how can I close an unpaid case without invoicing buyer

Hi,

Can you please advise what happens next when an unpaid case was opened.

I should've cancel order instead of opening the case because the buyer and me agreed that the deal won't happen.

Four days after you open the case, check back in your Sold Items page and find the item that was cancelled. There should be an option from the drop-down menu to close the case. Or just go into the Resolution Center in PayPal, go to Open Cases (or similar) and you can close it there.

You will get your fees back and the buyer will have an unpaid item strike recorded against them. Maybe there's a way to cancel the unpaid item case and if there is another more experienced member should reply with a way to do that.
