i had a buyer purchase multiple items & pay for them,i want to combine the postage for them,how do i refund them the extra postage they paid

buyer has paid postage on 6 separate items but my postage costs is a lot less then this and I would really like to refund them the difference. how?

If they paid by PayPal, log into PayPal and give them a part refund for the discounted postage. Then send them a message explaining the reason for the part refund.
