item i sold doesn't work

I sold battery doll which worked ok, customer says doll doesn't work. Do i have to give refund?

If the item is not as described then yes you have to refund.

BUT do NOT refund till you have the item back and it is in the condition it was sent. If it is not working on return and it is in the same condition it was sent then refund the buyer.

If they open a dispute if they paid by PayPal they will be told to return for a refund anyway so not point in fighting the buyer.
