On 17 Apr 19 I received a notification email from notification@ebay.com.au regarding Corded Internal Window Coverings - letter for eBay to disseminate to suppliers (on behalf of ACCC).
I am selling curtains but nothing with cords or wires attached.
Why would I have received this?
Is it a genuine email from eBay? I can't find anything in my Notifications on eBay itself.
Has anyone else, selling curtains, received this email ?

This is the answer centre and not many read here as opposed to the discussion boards.
It could appear to be real but if it isn't in your eBay messages then I doubt it's genuine.
However it may be eBay has been advised to email any sellers of a particular product with safety concerns and you should take the information on board if it is relevant to any products you are selling.
You could also do internet searches or call the ACCC if in doubt.
