I am new to eBay. I have a item on Auction with no" Buy it Now "option. I have had 1Bid within the first hour of my listing. I have just had a message from someone wanting to buy the item now without bidding, The Auction ends on Friday. Before I reply back I wanted to make sure that this is not possible or is it possible.  Hi Ebay, I have been a buyer and seller of my personal items for a few years now and have never had issues before. My problem is that I recently sold some guttering that had been around the back of our house as I am doing a big clean up. I put them on Ebay thinking my husband did not want them anymore but I was wrong, as I found out only the very next day when telling my husband Mark that I had "sold" them, he was horrified as he needs it to finish the side of our house! I had no idea that he still wanted them as they had been sitting there for a few years. I put them on a one day auction thinking it would be great to get rid of them I wish I had put them on a 7 day auction as my mistake was noticed only the day after I listed it and I would of had time to pull them off. I didn't, and now I have the buyer sending emails to me even after I have explained to him that they are not for sale and the reason. I am well aware of the rules regarding sales however this is a genuine mistake, I have never pulled a sold item off Ebay before, I am not a business, just an ordinary mother selling my own “stuff” trying to de clutter, who made a mistake. As this was only a $20 purchase and surely not worth all the threatening emails that I am getting from this guy Frank I have tried to cancel this sale but for some reason Frank doesn’t want to believe me and is continuing in his pursuit. Please help me to end this he has our name number and address and I am a bit scared he will turn up here when my husband is not home. e.g. Title, description, add/remove photos, reserve, etc??   Is there any time limit, or other conditions, which limit additions or alterations?   Thanks in advance for your help.   (The question is prompted by wanting to take advantage of listing items for free in a short time window. Created a new auction with buyer to pay postage, previewing the auction shows the poastage correctly with the 'Calculate' link. When the item listed it is now showing a 'Standard postage' of $9.75.   I have tried revising the listing postage setting but can't figure out how to fix it. I then deleted the auction and recreated it, but it has done exactly the same thing again. then said he would pay deposit of 10% ... with another 40% to follow in a couple of days ... wanted an RACQ inspection done but the only way this could happen is if we took the bus 20 kilometres to gympie .. with no mention of compensation for us ..  He did pay 10% deposit 4 days from when he originally said he would ... then kept promising more money which never came through i opened an unpaid item thingy against him at ebays suggestion .. he promptly cancelled the transaction and demanded a refund. then 40 minutes later asked for details of the bus and garaged address so he could get someone out to look at the bus ... fine .. all good there ... however he could not arrange for that to happen and again demanded we take the bus to town for the inspection .. husband works split shift and the hours buyer proposed were not workable here and if we did take the bus to town hubby had no way of getting home as bus would be in workshop and i have recently had surgery and cannot drive ... so buyer then became abusive ... demanded we take bus to town or he would report us .. which he ended up doing ..  mind you we have all the relevant paper work .. certificates etc for this bus' sale as required by Qld transport but that is still not enough .. we did tell him he could have come looked at the bus before buying it but apparently that is not how things are done ... i have been accused of many things that are just not happening ... like trying to sell outside ebay ... yep that is why all our coms have been done via the ebay messenger ... only 2 outside phonecalls ... it really does pay to do things the right way and thru ebay we have had many ebay messages which are threatening in nature ... and also texts in which he has actually threatened my life ... all have been reported to the authorities ...  my question is .. how do i get to give this buyer negitive feedback or at least get the feedback he left removed as it is totally not true if anyone can help i would appreciate it ... thanks ...
