Is the super long jumbled up email reference that ebay attach to a sale the only email reference that I can use when using aust post labels? Looked at it the other day and couldn't believe the number of letters and digits shown, is this the only one that I can reference? Or do some other sellers have some  way of typing in something else? hey guys hope you are all well.   Long story short, Ive recently started selling in ebay (Dec 2024). Made two mistakes…I had two orders which the Addresses provided in the orders I was unable to send too. So I messaged the both buyers their address was an issue, informed them, both did not respond. So I contacted ebay they said cancel the orders. Unfortunately i did not know it mattered the reason and just chose out of stock (i know). Reason I cancelled:   The address listed for both was a parcel locker which I hadn't heard of ( a 24/7 parcel pick up only for parcels, not letters). Went onto the postal website and it said a letter could not be not be received there ( as my items were letters, they only accepted parcels). Spoke to Ebay they said if they don't respond, to cancel the order. These are domestic sales not international.       fast forward to now I am below standard seller (says next evaluation i would be rated as above standard), i tried appealing but Ebay denied, after a phone call they agreed to review it.   Is it the case of I wait for the next review and I'm back to normal…. Or is my account stuffed for 12 months. Went from 5 sales a day to 0 this week. Barely any impressions or views… or do I fight this? I have proof in the conversation with the buyers. I have just sold an expensive coin on eBay.    After the buyer messaged me and confirmed that he had paid, eBay sent me the following:    "This is Susan from eBay, I'm the representative in charge of your transaction with the buyer   The major reason why the funds have not been reflected on your account is because we need to verify that the item has been shipped because some sellers will receive cleared funds in their account and they will refuse to ship out the item. So since the money has been debited from the buyer account, It will be on hold until you email us the picture of the shipping receipt for confirmation so we can release all your funds into your account. I have just sold a book that I have had listed for 6 months.  I noticed that the price was a few dollars less than I had it listed for.  I realised I must have sent an offer for this book, but that was weeks, possible a couple of months ago.  I didn't think offers lasted THAT long!  How does this work? Hello. I recently started listing my collection on Ebay, maybe releasing 1-2 items over the past few days. I told my husband to check on them, but he says they're not listed on my profile. So I went on my listings to take a look, and even though I put in proper pictures, descriptions and delivery options they have 0 views when usually they'd have at least a handful by now.    I have no messages or emails from Ebay so if there's something wrong with my listings, I would expect them to tell me at least. As per the title, been a member on ebay since 06' & never heard or seen this kind of thing before. I had an item listed for auction but was withdrawn by ebay on November 20. To put this in perspective, another seller was selling the previous model for this range of products  & had a successful auction to sell it. The claim from the manufacturer about me "violating their intellectual property" is that I did not mention the warranty still applicable to the item, however the business has this marked up in capital letters on their website for this product range; "THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY EXIST UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, APPLY ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THE AMD PROCESSOR, OR AMD PROCESSOR-BASED COMPUTER AND LAST ONLY FOR AS LONG AS SUCH PURCHASER CONTINUES TO OWN THE PROCESSOR." We are selling reusable plates in Victoria, supplied by a local manufacturer who is a member of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation, committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Additionally, some of our products are imported through legitimate and ethical channels, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Despite this, eBay has recently taken down our listings, citing "non-compliance" without providing a clear explanation. This decision has left us with the burden of spending significant time and effort to reinstate products that are already compliant. In my opinion, eBay should have a more robust review system in place before taking such measures. Decisions should be based on clear and valid reasons that are communicated transparently, rather than simply labeling products as "non-compliant" and imposing unnecessary work on sellers. This approach is simply unreasonable. I believe this issue may stem from top-level directives that are not properly managed at the execution level, leading to hasty and poorly considered actions. There seems to be a lack of proper oversight within eBay’s internal management, causing confusion and frustration for sellers who are trying to do the right thing. eBay needs to improve its internal management processes to ensure that decisions affecting sellers are fair, justified, and communicated clearly. ... I have sent  % discount to a few of our customers with watched items.    As many listings have "make an offer" included in the original listing just want to know can the watcher still make an offer PLUS receive the special % discount sent to them?   Is the "make an offer" removed once the special % discount is forwarded to them, or do I have to go in and remove it from the listing before using our promotion? Hi Sellers!   I was wondering if anyone in Australia has seen their eBay sales drop from around the start of April to now (end of June) and has anyone experienced a pattern at these times in previous years?   I’ve been selling for between 3-4 years and my items took off fairly well and I was able to maintain steady sales within around $500 of my highest totals.  As of April this year, my sales have dropped almost $1500 and don't look to be picking up again.   Has anyone else had the same sales drop this last few months?  I’m really starting to worry that they won’t pick up again.  I’m still getting a lot of my regular customers buying and I’m following eBays rules/algorithm  to get my listings seen, which I have checked, and they are showing up.   Thanks so much for any helpful comments/suggestions.   Cheers, Rach. ... Buyer asking for Invoice on goods sold as they've purchased it for their business. How do I go about accommodating this request, is there a way to generate an invoice on sold listing?   I've had a search on the community page for solutions and it seems like Ebay does not provide invoices. If this is truly the case, how do I go about explaining to the customer that I am unable to provide an Invoice on goods sold? Should I suggest they use the Order Receipt as a invoice?
