recieving payment for my sold items is very difficult

1 placed my new phone for sale on ebay because i need some money within 2hrs a member called  Kaagre just bougth it and he told me he has paid through paypal. Your item has been purchased by a scammer. Usually Nigerian but can be from other places. (Nigeria always = scam). Do not communicate with this person.

If the buyer is still registered, go to the Contact Us link on the Help page. Report the ID for having fake contact info. (they always do)

You can also go to Live Help and report that way.

Once they are marked as no longer a registered user open an Unpaid Item Dispute and claim your fees back. (it's quicker if you wait til they are suspended before filing the dispute)

If the ID is already suspended just proceed straight to the dispute console, claim back your fees and relist.

Before you relist, go to your My eBay preferences section, and look for Buyer Requirements under the Selling Preferences heading, and select all the bidder blocks you can to stop these scammers bidding.

The most effective is to set 'buyers who are not phone verified' to apply to members with a feedback of 5 or less but go through them all and choose the ones you want.

You will also find that not putting a Buy It Now price on your listings will cut down the incidence of nuisance bidding.

Also look for Selling Preferences >>> Postage Preferences click Show on the right, then click Edit next to "Exclude postage locations from your listings" and select your blocks. Tick the box next to "Apply to all current live listings" if you have listings currently running.
