100 free listings - can they be scheduled to start outside of the promotional weekend?

So as the subject line reads.

Hoping to get from clarification from experienced sellers regards the 100 free listings weekends.  So we get 40 free anyway which can be listed/started throughout the month, plus on the odd occasion an extra 100 free listings that normally run over a weekend.

Do the 100 have to start on the promotional weekend or can they be listed and scheduled to start after the promotional weekend...so as to span the start times out over a longer period...but at the same time not be charged an insertion fee for the items that start after the promo weekend.

I accepted the free listing promo at the beginning of November...and created 100 listings.  Some started that weekend and others started the following weekend and some were to start this weekend (tomorrow).  Today, I went in to edit some of scheduled but yet to start listings that I created on that promo weekend at the beginning of November and noticed that there was a $1.50 insertion fee attached to the listings ($1.10 for insert and 40c for the schedule presumably).

I've since deleted the promo email to read the fine print but I'm keen to hear from other sellers who have tried this and how ebay have affected fees on them.

For me there is a distinction between listing a item and starting an item.  I guess I was scheduling the listing so make it sort of like a template that I could amend in the future....because lets face it....listing 100 items in a couple of days is very time consuming.

The free listing promos only apply to listings that are listed or scheduled to start within the stated period of that promotion.

The dates of the promotions for the 100 free listings usually cover between a 3 - 5 period, but that varies sometimes too.

If your listing is scheduled to start after the designated free listing period ends it will not be covered by that promotion. Listings started out side of promotion stated timing will be charged accordingly or come off your monthly free listing total.

$1.50 is the standard insertion fee for listings with a start price under $100, and scheduling is free (even though it still states there's a charge on the listing form), but as cats says, they have to start during the promotional period to qualify for 0 insertion fees.
