$1000 Ad fee Credit on Ebay Plus Listings not applied to invoice

Hi all,

I applied and accepted the following offer:

It also appeared in my list of promotional offers, where it first showed as "Accept". Then when I accepted it, it showed as "Available" in both the Android app and the web version. I then went ahead and promoted my Ebay Plus badged listings (and a few others) for the month of June, which was the period of the offer.

However, and this is the problem, the $1000 credit has not been applied to my latest invoice. What makes this more worrying is that the when offer expired, it disappeared from the list of promotional offers, both current and expired.

I have contacted Ebay about it, and they have said that the offer will be applied within 60 days, but given the circumstances mentioned above, I am somewhat hesitant to believe them.

So, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing with this particular offer?

I always take a screen grab of an offer before and during my acceptance of it for later reference and proof.

How did you contact eBay regarding having it applied? If it was via online chat, it's a pretty good bet they'll follow through with it, though don't be afraid to chase them about it every week or so.

If it wasn't via online chat, I'd go onto that now and chat with a CS agent. Just find a reason to have them reconfirm the details you were told (e.g. would they have told me "16" days or "60" days - I didn't quite hear correctly).

Basically, you want them to confirm the credit will be applied in writing. Once you've received the email containing the transcript, you've got a reface number for the conversation you can refer back to later if you need to hold eBay to their commitment.

60 days, given you expected the credit in June.

I know about the 60 days thing, but usually offers seem to be applied to the most recent invoice.

The other part of the problem is that the offer is no longer showing in my list (not trace of it anywhere), which makes me wonder, not unreasonably, if there has been some issue that caused both the offer to disappear AND the credit to not be applied.

eBay's offer records are shaky at best. I've had quite a few where I've accepted, received confirmation, and then they've never actually showed up under my current offers list, and/or past offers.
