so I've listed 2 items...recently
one lot in books magazines
and another in home and gardens party occasions I have 3 of that item avail. I searched what was avail in ebay and then clicked on sell similar.
I am surprised they've gone up for 28 days. I'm not a store so surprised I can do that. I take advantage of the 3 autorelists but that usually involves ticking the box. I've heard of GTCancelled but didn't deleiberately click on anything....
are I paying more for 28 day listing, how did I do this and whats the diffence/advantage of doing it this way. is it only in certain categories, or have I missed a communcation re change for casual sellers?
thanks in advance

Kudos only have value YOU place on them. For example, a good use of Kudos is to only kudo those posts which give YOU helpful and practical tips about buying and selling. You can then go straight to the list of posts you have kudoed to find the information.

"The duration you selected may change the price of some listing upgrades"

I've seen this come up also when I make a change - and always check that I haven't been charged extra as a result when I confirm my revised listing. But I've never seen any $ change or increase as a result.

I'm the same cathy...
davewil I've discovered when items relist automatically if you catch them before they go past 9days 22hrs and tick them you can edit in bulk to relist for 30 days...

You can alter the duration on any listing to a longer duration in the first two hours after you list it. You can alter them to a shorter duration at any time providing there's still 24 hours to run on the new duration, eg. if you want to change to 5 days but it's more than 4 days since the listing started you won't be able to do it.
GTC is extremely risky for non-store sellers because when they relist you'll either use up one of your free listings or you'll be charged. 30 days with AR gets you 120 days total but gtc only gets you 30 days for free.
