Do you mean COD where the seller sends the parcel and the buyer has to pay the item cost + postage + $8 fee when they go to collect it and AP send you a moneyorder for the item price?
If so then no buyer or seller in their right mind would use it for an ebay item. Not safe for seller as buyer can refuse to collect and then seller has to pay the cost of postage both ways plus a fee to get it back. Unsafe for the buyer because the seller can send them a parcel of junk and there is nothing the buyer can do as they are not allowed to examine the parcel before handing over the cash.
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.

For bills? I do all the time (I also use the online bill payment service - some you can pay with PayPal, some you can't). Australia Post don't charge anything to pay bills there, but the biller often does. Check the bill, it should outline fees and charges - if any - for various payment methods, and they're usually added to the next bill (Optus charge fees to pay your bill for every method except direct debit ๐ ).

...ok. I just used that nifty google thing and realised what you're talking about. :8}
I can't see any fees or charges on the info page, but I can't imagine many customers using it, TBH.

I only found out about it while reading one of the postage guides. There was about 10 bigish companies listed on the website that do use it.
I think it would be good alternative if the fees are low (I doubt it though). ALso It may be classed as a "safe" payment method by ebay.

Is it still around? D*g's link refers to a 2005 agreement and it supports IE up to 5.5 and Netscape 4.x browsers only. And the Technical Evaluation page is copyright 2002.

Hi All,
Pay it at Post is certainly still available and fees can be found here http://auspost.com.au/finance-insurance/payment-on-delivery-postpay.html looks like fees are around $2 per transaction.

So not COD then lol.
As far as I can remember it is not one of ebay's acceptable payment methods so you could not officially offer it, the buyer would have to rely on the seller to be honest as they would have no buyer protection through ebay or Paypal.
