In fact in my case all vouchers I've received insist I use Paypal, no other payment options worked.

Could be that Ebay has a new person who is trying to justify their existence by making a change.

Re: AU $10.00 voucher

I think we will see a lot more of this in future.

Ebay is gradually cutting out paypal in favour of their managed payments system so they will change the T & Cs of all their vouchers.

It is one way to save money....there will be a lot of members like Padi who will not want to give out all their details to ebay.

Re: AU $10.00 voucher

I have also used a debit card with hardly any funds in it. And you can uncheck "save card for future purchases" anyway at checkout. I did and checked my payment options after the purchase just to be sure - no card has been saved and the discount has been applied.

I know that it said "save a card now" in the vouchers section, but you don't really have to save it. You just have to use it.

At any rate you can remove a credit card or a debit card from your payment options at any time.

Re: AU $10.00 voucher

I suppose it makes a change from all the eBay offers I've had lately....provided I use their app.

I don't have a smart phone.

Re: AU $10.00 voucher

I have had an issue with this voucher too. I bought an item from a seller and applied the voucher code then paid the remaining price using my credit card (to be able to apply the code). I thought it was all fine until I got an email from the seller asking me why I hadn't paid for the full amount. It seems that the $10 was not passed on the seller, so I ended up paying her the $10 as a separate transaction through PayPal. What's going on here, does anyone know?

Re: AU $10.00 voucher

Read the T&C's attached to the voucher you tried to use, some have a 'spend limit' some can be withdrawn by eBay before the 'use by' date and of course, check the 'use by date' and some may be restricted to certain items.

Other than that, not sure, but quite a few people have been to the boards lately complaining about this same issue.
