I'm using Comms Bank Australia as my payout bank.
Ebay did a penny test, and I received it. But when I'm supposed to receive my first 2 payouts, I received an email stating that there's a delay. So I didn't think much, and maybe it will be paid within a month.
3 weeks later, when I received my 3rd payout, I noticed the first 2 payouts were skipped. It was a $100 payout total.
So I contact customer service through chat and email. Both ways were not helpful and replying in a "temaplate" way. I tried going to the bank and there's no way they will track for me, I tried asking them online and at the bank branch.
This is the replies i get from eBay customer support.
"If your issue has not been resolved yet please get in touch with your bank and share transaction reference Ids xxxxxx and xxxxxxxx and check your updated bank statement as well. Also share the letter from your bank that they didn't receive the payout and send us by replying this email.".
I even screenshot my bank statements for transaction proof and also screenshots of Comms Bank customer support saying they wont track it.
It's so stressfull as i paid and uses eBay for their service and they cant check it for me on their end instead they replied the same email over and over. I even request for a call twice through the chat and noone called me!
Im wondering if any new Ebay sellers having this issue in australia? I dont think its the bank fault as I received transactions twice. And im very upset that eBay Australia cant check with the Bank for me if it really went through.

Go to the payments tab in your seller hub.
I understand that you should have received your earlier payouts but does it actually show that you've been paid out for the missing $100 and therefore they should show in your bank account ?
Or do they still show as awaiting payout ?

Breakdown of the payout.
Payout tab on eBay. Stated its "Funds sent" from Nov 10 2025.
Delay email received on Nov 10 2025.
Bank transactions from Nov 1-27 2025. Only 1 transaction made, which is the latest fund.
Bank customer service reply
The funds from Nov 10 & 11 have not been received yet. I have no idea if i will even receive it in the future if eBay customer service is this poor.
Ebay customer service reply.
If the bank can't check the transaction from eBay how is that useful? So im stuck with this template reply every time I request assistance with eBay. Can't they eBay Australia check with the local banks themselves?

Other posters may have suggestions for you but in the meantime, my guess would be that the 'delays' in the two earlier payouts may still be happening.
I know this doesn't account for the payment you've received but new sellers often have their payments held for 30 days.
ebay writes "We apologise , but there's a delay in reaching your account. Occasionally this takes longer due to compliance checks"
so you need to ask them to give you the exact date /s, after the delay, that the payments were sent...
to check if they've actually been sent at all.

Nope. Ebay won't help me with this. Ive tried asking many times. Even giving a proper bank statement and all.
Ive made a decision to not sell on this platform anymore as I feel scammed by this platform and the service I'm getting. It's not worth it really, paying transaction fees for 10% and getting treated like this without proper help/service.
All i get is the same template reply. I ve requested multiple time for a call from eBay, they didnt even do that.
Ive lost more than $100 on this.
