Ability to leave sellers negative feedback

In my early eBay trading days I was told by eBay that they like to create a level playing field.

It is the sellers who create the enormous wealth for eBay, but are not permitted to leave a buyer negative feedback when they don't pay or leave unjustified negative feedback for the seller.

A buyer has the ability to leave negative feedback against a seller who doesn’t do the right thing for any amount of reasons. I appreciate that, because not only am I a seller but also a buyer, and I always check what feedback has been left by past buyers on a particular item I am looking at.

It’s a shame that sellers don’t have to right to leave buyers feedback for exactly the same reasons.

I ASK ALL EBAY SELLERS TO PETITION EBAY REGARDING THE ABILTY TO LEAVE THE APPROPRIATE FEEDBACK AGAINST BUYERS.

This can be done by emailling any or all of the email addresses below. I am confident that if sufficient emails are received by eBay it will make them sit up and take notice.

I have no idea who "Teddy" is but if people didn't know the other site existed they sure do now after all of the comments being made about it in various postings. Free advertising.

Teddie was the one posting about the oother site, his post got removed as it's against board policy to advertise other sites and petition against eBay, which is what he was doing

I'd like a 5-star DBR (detailed buyer ratings) system 🙂

How quickly did the buyer pay?

How fairly do you think the buyer judged your item?

And you could earn 'top rated buyer' status... which.. umm.. ok I haven't thought this through... which ebay can send you monthly coupons for. You'd have to meet a minimum buying amount and feedback status... the better the rating the bigger the coupon 🙂

Perhaps it could be an option for some sellers (at their own discretion) to offer a small discount or perhaps free post for a TRB (top rated buyer) ?
