Accepting a Paypal Payment

Hi all.

I sold a mug on the 16th and the Paypal email said to click on a link to accept payment. They wanted me to open a PP business account. On Ebay sold page it said payment initated and then changed to payment pending with the hourglass symbol. I assumed it was an e cheque. Ive know these take many days to clear.

There is no mention of this transaction in my PP account.

I cant ring Paypal as due to the Coronavirus their phone lines are closed. Any help will be appreciated.

Just upgrade to a business account.....you should not be selling with a personal account.

You should have the option to upgrade to a premier account, which is the level between personal and business, and allows your account to receive payments funded by a credit card without manually accepting them - you can't have a business account without being a registered business (according to PayPal themselves).

As DG suggests if you can, upgrade your PayPal account to Premier.
