Adding A Buyer To Blocked List.

I just has a strange one a Buyer with ver low FB I wish to block but their user name starts with symbles and ends with a lot of blank spaces. I added it to my block list will Ebay still know it as a blocked buyer?

if you typed it correctly it will. I usually copy and paste so I get it correct.

I copied and pasted it but eBay block list don't seem to recognize the blank spaces at the end of their user name

This is a very clever buyer then as they must have worked out how not to be able to be blocked

I have just noticed they have changed their user ID recently if I block their previous ID will is block the present one?

No that don't work eBay states Invalid User Id when I try to block it.

If you copy a hyperlinked eBay ID, it will often contain embedded HTML that is pasted to the blocked list (an eBay user ID can not contain spaces at the end). If you type it out exactly, paste it to notepad first then copy, or - if using Chrome - pick 'paste as plain text' instead of just 'paste', it should be able to be submitted ok.

If a member on your BBL changes their ID, your list is updated with the new ID.

Hi DG Thanks for the info I have copied it Symbol for symbol And letter for Letter and blocked them so hopefully it will work. I did try and block their oreivous ID but eBay would not let me as it is an invalid, It will be interesting Thank you
