After 10 years, my first Paypal chargeback

Buyer is claiming unauthorised purchase on an $8 item with $12 express postage on the 27th of October. He joined in September and has only 4 feedback.

Honestly, who would scam an $8 item? I think I'm being diddled.

Seems there's a bit of this going around at the moment. 😞

Did you keep any of the info to prove postage? If so, you may be able to qualify for seller protection.

Same thing happened to me yesterday for a 10.00 item. Was your buyer from Canberra?

Straight after Nov 1st I had 2 small claims. Like they waited.... calmed down now.

As I get hardly any claims most strange they appeared on this date!

Just make sure you add comment to feedback ....but make it professional, not abusive.

"Refunded for 'whatever reason'

same here ..  for a $6.50 item .. just rang paypal on 02 8223 9500 & they gave me back my money within 5 mins ...  this is called cyber shop lifting ...  maybe if they get enough calls they will do something about it ...  thinking of quiting ebay altoghther ... good luck every one 🙂

Make sure when you add the follow up fb to put the user id in, eg 'user123 was refunded after《whatever reason》'. Then we can all add to our special lists.
