Hello everyone,
here's a question for you all.
I have been using my mother in laws paypal account, then last week they restricted her account and have decided that she can no longer have a paypal account for reasons that have nothing to do with her or myself as such. Anyway paypal have frozen the money in the account, refused to pay ebay fees and are holding money for 180 days. Grrr.
So my question is is there an alternative to paypal that I can use on here? Is there a way to sell without paypal? I am so angry as ebay cancelled my auctions and are now telling me that my account is in good standing and payment needs to be made to keep it that way. Well I would of paid if paypal hadn't have kept my money.
Thanks jems

Er what?
Your mother in law needs to sort the issue out with Paypal or contact the BFSO ie Ombudsman.
AS for yourself, why did you use her account instead of starting your own?
Why can't you register your own Paypal account?

Sounds like they got wind of the fact that you are using someone elses paypal account. They have done the right thing as this is fraud. As patch said, start your own paypal account.

97% FB is not good. Are you sure the PP account was not frozen because of a problem you are having? If that is not the case, just open your own PP account. Yes, you can open Paymate, but many people are not willing to pay with Paymate if the same items are available from seller with PP.
I have few hundreds of dollars in my PP and therefore want to pay from there; I would only pay with Paymate if it was something I just absolutely have to have, and cannot get it anywhere else.

Paypal does not freeze accounts for no reason and the reason would have to have something to do with one of you.
Are you sure it is not something to do with the MAC makeup you have sold....a lot of it on ebay is fake.

As super said, your feedback is not really anything to crow about, perhaps a buyer has had a problem that you have not dealt with? and paypal have frozen the account until it is rectified? You really need to be a little more customer friendly, and replying to neg feedback in an angry manner is not the way to attract buyers.

I'm sure it wouldn't have anything to do with the Negative Feedback the OP has received for selling fake perfume and not sending items.. One of the feedbacks is for INR and the buyer is saying that the item was re-listed for more money.. Or the neutral that was given for excessive handling time..

Using someone else's account, questionable transactions ...
Seems like Paypal is on the ball.
